Marriott opens a luxury all-inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic
Marriott has opened its brand new all-inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic.
It is called Sanctuary Cap Cana and is part of Marriott’s Luxury Collection.
This is the latest extension of All-Inclusive for Marriott Bonvoy, which has rapidly expanded its all-inclusive portfolio in major Caribbean destinations.
The adults-only resort is Marriott’s first luxury all-inclusive in the Caribbean, located in the exclusive Cap Cana enclave near Punta Cana.

The resort has a total of 324 suites, as well as 46,000 square feet of event space and 17 different event rooms.
This includes the 5,500 square foot Castle Island Suite, a bi-level unit on its own private island with a master bedroom, secondary bedroom, two-and-a-half bathrooms, expansive living room, full dining room, and three plunge pools. interiors with floor-to-ceiling windows offering endless ocean views.
The establishment offers four different à la carte dining concepts, including the iconic restaurants The Capriccio and The Steakhouse. The property is also anchored by the Sanctuary Town, just across the lobby, which offers a selection of different dining options, from a sushi town to the Burger Factory to the wood-fired pizzeria Mama’s Forno.
The pool landscape is expansive, with six pools across the property, including a lazy swim-up, joined by cabanas and beach lounge chairs.
The wellness offering is centered around the Sanctuary Spa, which offers Ayurvedic treatments, hydrotherapy, and other cutting-edge therapies.
