Sex Party: CLO salutes Governor Soludo for closing the hotel
1 The Civil Liberties Organization (CLO) praised the governor. Charles Soludo of Anambra for his swift action in shutting down the Winters Garden Hotel following an alleged viral video sex party held at the hotel.
2 This is contained in a statement signed by the CLO President, Mr. Vincent Ezekwueme and made available to journalists in Onitsha on Saturday.
The CLO applauded and praised Gov Soludo for his tireless efforts to instill moral rectitude in his administration and in the state.
The press agency of Nigeria reports that Soludo has closed Winters Garden Hotels and Suites at awkathe state capital, over an alleged viral video of a sex party that allegedly took place in a section of the hotel facility.
According to the statement, it is utterly despicable that this is happening in the university community despite the six-month-long faculty strike that has forced students to take unscheduled vacations.
“It is necessary to go to the root and determine the real genuine promoters and organizers of the devil’s event; Nigerians are eager and curious about the organizers and the motive behind it.
“It is very regrettable and detestable that this loving and shameful act has generated a negative image and impact on the state and its citizens,” he said.
Ezekwueme described the act as a shameful, painful and devastating shock and effect on the youth, society and the state.
